OW Mobile

OW Mobile provides integration with the OccultWatcher (OW) desktop application for tracking asteroidal occultations and planning their observation.

An existing OW account is required to use OW Mobile.

In the current version OW Mobile lists the user's My Events and provides details for each of them including:

  • Event parameters such as date and time of the event; maximum duration and magnitude drop; star, moon and sun altitude
  • Information about the star, including coordinates, designation and magnitudes
  • Information about the asteroid such as type, diameter and rotational parameters
  • Information about other observer's positions
  • Weather forecast for all announced stations

Event reminders are also provided on your device.

OW Mobile is supported by the International Occultation Timing Association.
